Empowering Dreams: Uhuru For All Donates Laptop to Aspiring Nurse in Ghana

Accra, Ghana — In a heartwarming moment of support and encouragement, the U.S.-based NGO Uhuru For All, dedicated to empowering communities across Africa, presented a laptop to Humu Mohammed, a determined student at Saint Mary’s Senior High School.

Representing the Uhuru For All team, the founder began the presentation with a simple question:
May I ask what your name is?
My name is Humu Mohammed, she replied with a smile.

Humu is currently in Form 3, pursuing General Science, a course she believes will pave the way for her future in healthcare. When asked about the purpose of the laptop, Humu shared her excitement:

It will improve my learning skills and help me download educational materials from the internet. I can’t use a pen drive with my phone, but I can with a computer.

Her aspirations are clear and inspiring.

My plan is to become a nurse. I’m studying General Science so I can go to university and pursue General Nursing. Eventually, I want to become a doctor.

The team from Uhuru For All expressed their joy in being able to support Humu’s journey.

We’re happy to hear that we’re being of assistance to you by providing something to improve your learning process.

Grateful and hopeful, Humu responded:

Thank you very much for this laptop. It’s going to do a lot for me. It’s going to improve my learning skills too.

Her parent also shared heartfelt appreciation:

Yes, I want to say thank you very much because we needed this.

Uhuru For All remains committed to supporting students like Humu across Africa, providing tools and resources that unlock potential and transform lives.

We are very happy to be of assistance to you and to do the same for many others like you in the future.
